5 Years of FLEXiCODE: High Five Event with over 100 guests a complete success!
On September 14, 2023, FLEXiCODE welcomed its valued customers, business partners and colleagues to an unforgettable anniversary celebration at the Sportpark Ronhof | Thomas Sommer to celebrate its 5th anniversary together. Over 100 participants gathered in the unique location of the Spielvereinigung Greuther Fürth stadium and experienced an exciting day revolving around digital future topics and smart solutions.
The day began with a warm welcome from FLEXiCODE High Five moderator and Consulting Team Leader Fabian Faltermeier, who guided the guests through the entire program of the event. In addition to FLEXiCODE advisory board member Andreas von Langsdorff, Dr. Thomas Jung, long-time Mayor of the City of Fürth, also addressed introductory words to the guests.
From the founding idea in 2018 to today
In an entertaining interview, Fabian Faltermeier elicited the story behind the founding of FLEXiCODE from the two managing directors Carolin Scheifl and Lorenz Wiederer and looked back at the challenges and successes of the past five years. Customers, partners and colleagues were able to get to know the two founders of FLEXiCODE from a more personal side and learn about the secret to success with which they positioned their company as one of the TOP 3 IFS Partners in the DACH region and enabled FLEXiCODE’s growth by 30-fold within the last 5 years. Some personal anecdotes brought smiles to the guests’ faces.
Well-rounded program with exceptional diversity of topics
After the insight into FLEXiCODE’s development, the following program of the High Five Event revolved around the digital future of various industries. David Hoffmann (Manager Presales, IFS) and Andreas Nagengast (Principal Business Consultant, FLEXiCODE) highlighted how IFS Cloud addresses the future megatrend of circular economy through contemporary functionalities and creates an individual and efficient user experience. David Hoffmann also provided insights into upcoming innovations that will come with the next two major releases of IFS Cloud. FLEXiCODE expert Andreas Nagengast offered another highlight: Using a use case with a live demo, he highlighted the possibilities and advantages of workflow configuration in IFS Cloud.
To increase efficiency and ensure an optimal and practice-oriented introduction of IFS Cloud, the FLEXiCODE IFS Cloud Extensions were presented for the first time at the anniversary celebration and were very well received.
Smart solutions and new impulses
Beyond its own service portfolio, FLEXiCODE provides its customers with complementary solutions offered by selected partners. Michael Eisler, Managing Director of friendWorks GmbH, presented to the High Five guests how companies can work easily, securely and efficiently with the Shareflex document management solution based on Microsoft 365, even in cloud-based ERP systems. FLEXiCODE partner DBConcepts Deutschland GmbH was also represented with Managing Director Thomas Moßmann and took interested parties behind the scenes of cloud operations on the topic of Managed Services.
In addition to software-related solutions, the program also offered other focus topics indispensable for successful digital transformation, which were illuminated by high-caliber speakers. The international keynote speaker Dr. Jens-Uwe Meyer set new impulses in his presentation on artificial intelligence (AI) and highlighted the opportunities of AI in an entertaining and provocative way. FLEXiCODE put another important and often underestimated success factor on its agenda: dealing with transformation. Saskia Grossmann from ONESTOPTRANSFORMATION AG in Nuremberg impressively demonstrated the enormous importance of companies’ digital mindset in the digital transformation process and set a visible impulse among the event guests.

In addition to the open, bright location and the warm and personal atmosphere among the participants of the FLEXiCODE High Five Event, the fantastic food, lovingly prepared and visually appealing by KEEPERS AND COOKS, ensured absolute comfort. The diverse culinary delights left nothing to be desired and ensured satisfied guests.
The football fans among the guests also got their money’s worth: During a guided stadium tour, they were allowed to take a panoramic look at the Sportpark Ronhof | Thomas Sommer and explore the stadium behind the scenes, right up to the team locker rooms.
FLEXiCODE looks back on a successful event and looks forward to the coming years with dynamism and optimism. Carolin Scheifl and Lorenz Wiederer promise their customers, partners and employees one thing above all: continuity.
