Growing Together: Highlights from Our Consulting Event

Two days filled with knowledge transfer, personal development, and a healthy dose of team spirit are behind us: nearly 40 consultants took part in our semi-annual FLEXiCODE ConsEvent – and the energy in the room was just as tangible as the high-impact content on the agenda.
Technical Insights and Personal Development
As usual, the focus was heavily on key consulting topics that significantly influence our daily project work and that of our customers. Highlights included:
- Release Updates: A joint review of new IFS features in preparation for upcoming project implementations.
- New Configuration Options in IFS Cloud: Presented and discussed with a strong practical focus.
- Posting Control (When Operations Meet Finance): Insights into efficient posting processes, collaboration between operational departments and finance, and typical real-world challenges.
Because consulting is about much more than just technical expertise, we featured a special highlight this time: an inspiring training session with expert Sebastian Kroggel on voice, communication, and rhetoric.
In an interactive session, we explored how the conscious use of language, voice, and argumentation can make daily consulting even more effective. Our consultants then had the chance to practice these approaches themselves and take away valuable insights.
Streamlining the Daily Workload: AI Ideas for Consulting
To further simplify day-to-day operations, our team developed and presented innovative ideas for leveraging AI in consulting. The goal: pragmatic, immediately applicable solutions that reduce repetitive tasks and provide even better support for our consultants. Several of these concepts are already being successfully used in practice.
Games Night Concludes the Team Event
A touch of IT culture was, of course, a must at the ConsEvent: pizza and a games night provided the perfect conclusion to an intensive event. It served as a relaxed counterpart to professional development and also offered a great opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of active projects.
