Successful ERP implementation in record time – Maximator goes live with IFS Cloud™ in just six months
In June 2024, after a rigorous selection process supported by Trovarit AG, Maximator GmbH decided to modernize its existing systems and switch to a new ERP solution. The company chose IFS Cloud™, a future-proof platform that sustainably increases efficiency, transparency, and flexibility across all business processes.
The challenge: The project to implement the core processes had to be completed in just six months – an ambitious goal that was successfully achieved thanks to a clear strategy, the consistent use of standard processes, and highly motivated collaboration with FLEXiCODE, a leading IFS partner.
IFS Cloud™ as the key to future-proof processes
As a global provider of high-pressure technology, Maximator required an ERP solution that would not only meet current business requirements but also remain scalable over the long term. IFS Cloud™ stood out due to its industry-specific module offerings, flexibility, and its “evergreen” model, which enables continuous updates without the need for complex, costly system upgrades.
From the beginning, Maximator and FLEXiCODE agreed to follow the “processes follow system” philosophy during implementation – implementing the functional standard in IFS. All core processes, from sales, purchasing, inventory management through production and service to accounting and personnel management, were implemented without individual customizations – a key success factor for the rapid and successful implementation. Additionally, FLEXiCODE’s custom-developed IFS Cloud Extensions, such as the predefined document package and role concept, were used and provided further time acceleration. These adaptation sets, specifically designed for the DACH market, extend industry-specific functions in IFS Cloud™ and cover a multitude of regional requirements for companies and their processes.

Another key to success was the close collaboration and high commitment on both sides – at Maximator and FLEXiCODE. Thanks to structured project management and competent support from Trovarit AG, the entire project team was able to successfully develop and shape the implementation. As a result, Maximator’s employees were able to dive deep into the new system from the start.

Digitalization on track for success
With the successful go-live of IFS Cloud™, Maximator has reached a major milestone in its digitalization strategy and its ongoing efforts to enhance customer centricity. But this is just the beginning: the partnership with FLEXiCODE is set to continue.
A follow-up project aimed at optimization and the systematic realization of corporate goals has already launched and will further drive Maximator’s transformation. This next phase will focus on LEAN production and modular variant manufacturing, combined with the deployment of a product configurator.
