Support for the Ronald McDonald House and Oasis in Passau
We are delighted to be able to financially support a very special project: The Ronald McDonald House and Oasis in Passau. This facility is part of the McDonald’s Children’s Aid Foundation, which has been committed to the health and well-being of children and families in Germany since 1987.
The Ronald McDonald House in Passau is characterized by its warm and welcoming atmosphere and offers families of weak and sick children a “temporary home” while their little ones are being treated in the nearby hospital.
It allows family members to stay close to their children, which not only supports the children’s recovery, but also provides comfort and companionship for parents and siblings during this difficult time. The house has cozy apartments, common rooms, a kitchen and a beautiful garden where families can recharge their batteries while taking a break from everyday hospital life.
Our decision to support the Ronald McDonald House in Passau was influenced not only by our regional ties but also by the personal experiences of our employees’ families and friends. Some of us know first-hand how important it is to stick together in such times of crisis and to have a place of refuge that offers security and support.
