The IFS Cloud upgrade project at Bachmann electronic has reached an important milestone: the Solution Acceptance Test (SAT) has been successfully completed. This marks a significant step forward for the ERP upgrade to IFS Cloud, bringing the project a decisive step closer to its upcoming go-live.

Solution Acceptance Test (SAT) Successfully Conducted On-Site
As part of the Solution Acceptance Test, the project teams from Bachmann electronic and FLEXiCODE worked closely together—directly on-site at the customer’s premises. The defined business processes in the target system IFS Cloud were comprehensively tested, functional and technical requirements were jointly validated, and targeted optimizations were identified.
The SAT is a core component of any IFS Cloud upgrade project, providing the necessary assurance that the system reliably maps the company’s real-world operational workflows.
Concurrently with the SAT, hands-on training sessions took place directly within the system. Key users from the various departments were closely involved, allowing them to familiarize themselves with IFS Cloud within their specific operational contexts. This direct exchange between the project team and the business departments ensured a shared understanding of the processes, establishing a solid foundation for daily operations after launch.
Successful ERP upgrade projects with IFS Cloud are built on the interplay of a clear project methodology, collaborative partnership, and active knowledge transfer.
